Heim is a great one stop shop for your spirit. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and especially helpful if you need assistance, or even just advice. Cannot recommend this shop more!

Giving two stars because the merchandise is good, but knocked three off for the absolutely non existent customer service. I am visiting from Virginia and this store came highly recommended. I was excited to stop by. My husband and I were not greeted or so much as looked at by the staff member who looked as if he wanted to be anywhere but at work. The only words spoken to us were my husband being told, “I gotta get in here” so he would move out of the way of a display case so another customer could look at rings. That customer got all the charm and attention. Pretty awful look for a place that appears to be all about social justice and inclusivity, and yet the only person of color to enter the store is ignored. No greeting, no offer to help, not even a smile. Simply disgraceful. Especially when I could have easily dropped a couple hundred on Pagan supplies. Blessed be my exit, I guess.

Heim is such a fun and magical little shop in Iowa City! If you love anything witchy, this place is a must-visit. They have crystals, jewelry, hair clips, skulls, home décor, and so much more—it’s one of those stores where you walk in for one thing and walk out with five. When I went inside the owner was working on a cat skeleton. It was super cool to see. There was also a display showcasing the decay and bugs eating away at the dead animal leaving the bone. The vibes are amazing—cozy, mystical, and super welcoming. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to answer questions or help you find exactly what you're looking for. Whether you're into witchy aesthetics, spiritual items, or just love unique and beautiful pieces, Heim is definitely worth checking out!

got a ton of my dorm decorations here, one of my absolute favorite store to stop into i stop in roughly once a week. great variety of crystals and jewelry, the staff and customer service is lovely and their popup events are a ton of fun

I love Heim! Sadly I don’t live anywhere near the physical store, but I have ordered online from Heim many times and the service is wonderful—online questions answered promptly, fast shipping, and the ceramics are always packaged very safely for shipping. I love Allison’s ceramics so much—I have 4 mugs (I had to stop myself from buying more), a cup, an incense holder, some refrigerator magnets, a cool moon t-shirt and moon ornament. I love shopping at Heim, and I look forward to adding to the list of cool items I’ve been able to find there. Highly recommend. I wish every town had a Heim!
